Easy and Impressive Dishes to Make for Mother’s Day

Mother’s Day is only a few weeks away, and if you’re anything like me you probably don’t have a gift picked out yet. Lucky for you, we’re putting together a list of quick and easy food ideas you can surprise your mom with this Mother’s Day!

They say food always tastes better when someone else is preparing it. This means you don’t have to be a good cook to make food be the perfect gift. Plan something easy and fun. Find out what your mom’s favorite foods are and center your Mother’s Day surprise around those things. A fun idea could be planning multiple small meals throughout the day instead of one large meal. Using several smaller dishes instead of one larger one will make things easier on you. Plus, you’ll be spending more time with your mom, which is what she really wants anyway.

To start the day, try an easy breakfast dish. Pancakes or waffles, if you have a waffle iron, are always good dishes. Plus, with a light meal it means less work for you. A meal that’s equally delicious and easy to make are wraps. Wraps only require a few ingredients and are healthier than most lunch items. Next is dinner. Because this is the culmination of your Mother’s Day celebration, we think it’s only right to go big!
